Classical / Complex Homeopathy
Diversity in approaches to Homeopathic treatment exists in Homeopathic Medicine.
Essentially, there form two area's:
"Classical" Homeopathy generally involves a detailed examination of a patient's history and infrequent doses of a single remedy as the patient is monitored for improvements in symptoms. This is called the 'similimum' prescription as was often used by Hahnemann, the founder of Homeopathy.
"Complex" Homeopathy involves combinations of remedies to address the various symptoms of an illness. This is a commonly used system as it addresses the patients illness by taking into account the type of illness; type of individual and the various complexities at work that allow the illness to manifest.
